Il coreografo Stefano Puccinelli e lo scultore Emanuele Giannelli, fondono il loro percorso artistico in questa opera coreografica shi-fi, affascinante ed evocativa che prende il nome di ACHILLES DYSTOPIA:
Achille, qui non è non uno dei protagonisti epici, non è un eroe, Achille è l’umanità, che esalta, sfrutta, cannibalizza se stessa, in un processo irreversibile. I sentimenti, le pulsioni ancestrali, si trasformano in un vortice che non lascia spazio all’essenza dell’individuo.
L’omologazione ed il superamento dei confini etico-morali sono in suffragio del raggiungimento di una perfezione umana che vuole trascendere i limiti naturali. Il corpo viene trasformato, tecnologicamente modificato.
La biotecnologia e l’ingegneria biomedica vogliono fondere Adamo ed Eva con i computer, per il raggiungimento di un super essere oltre l’astrazione nietzschiana, nel miraggio di un corpo bionico che comunque è destinato a tradire se stesso, nascondendo inutilmente “fragilità” come amore, pietà, conforto, comprensione, accettazione e morte.
Stefano Puccinelli, in questo lavoro di cui è ideatore, regista e coreografo, prende spunto dall’opera scultorea di Giannelli, in un percorso che concettualmente li accomuna. Il tessuto drammaturgico proietta in un “sistema” dagli accenti distopici, tema comune alle attuali best Sci-Fi TV Series, che raccolgono grandi consensi di audience proprio perché argomento temporalmente molto più vicino di quanto possa sembrare.
Il palcoscenico diventa una grande darkned room, tagliata da potenti fasci di luce, mentre i due grandi led wall rimandano frammenti scultorei e sci-fi graphics.
In questo spazio asettico i danzatori tracciano le loro storie (finestre aperte lasciate così perché ci si possa guardare dentro) con i loro corpi nudi o inguainati in tessuti neri, i volti spesso modificati dall’utilizzo di black mask, makeup ed accessori tecnici che vanno a potenziare l’aspetto di questi “esseri in trasformazione asfittica”.
Gli spettri che intravediamo all’orizzonte del nostro tempo, rimandano l’eco di un’effimera, profonda consapevolezza che ciò che ci attende si possa ancora cambiare.
The choreographer Stefano Puccinelli and the sculptor Emanuele Giannelli combine their artistic path in this fascinating and evocative shi-fi choreographic work that takes the name of ACHILLES DYSTOPIA: Achille, here is not one of the epic protagonists, he is not a hero, Achilles is humanity, which exalts, exploits, cannibalizes itself, in an irreversible process. The feelings, the ancestral impulses, are transformed into a vortex that leaves no room for the essence of the individual. The homologation and the overcoming of ethical-moral boundaries are in support of the achievement of a human perfection that wants to transcend natural limits. The body is transformed, technologically modified. Biotechnology and biomedical engineering want to merge Adam and Eve with computers, to achieve a super being beyond the Nietzschean abstraction, in the mirage of a bionic body which is however destined to betray itself, unnecessarily hiding "fragility" as love, mercy, comfort, understanding, acceptance and death. Stefano Puccinelli, in this work of which he is the creator, director and choreographer, takes inspiration from the sculptural work of Giannelli, in a path that conceptually unites them. The dramaturgical fabric projects into a “system” with dystopian accents, a common theme to the current best Sci-Fi TV Series, which garner great consensus from the audience precisely because the subject is temporally much closer than it may seem. The stage becomes a large darkned room, cut by powerful beams of light, while the two large LED walls reflect sculptural fragments and sci-fi graphics. In this aseptic space the dancers trace their stories (open windows left like this so that we can look inside) with their naked bodies or sheathed in black fabrics, their faces often modified by the use of black masks, makeup and technical accessories that go to enhance the appearance of these "beings in asphyxiated transformation". The ghosts that we see on the horizon of our time reflect the echo of an ephemeral, profound awareness that what awaits us can still change.
